Hello my name is Bridget i am 27 years old and i live in Marlborough Ma. I have been working with children for over 8 years now. I have over 20 certificates for online trainings, a childcare certificate from North shore community college and i am both First aid and Cpr certified. I first started working in a center when i was 19. I worked for a family friends home daycare. From then on i went to nanny two boys ages 10 months and 2 years old. I did that for about over a year until they put the youngest in daycare. I then got a job as a lead infant teacher at Bright Horizons. I worked there for 3yrs. I loved working for them i learned and grew so much there and had great bonds with my families and kiddos. I left there to work at another center closer Read more to home as a lead infant teacher aswell ,but it turned out that the atmosphere wasn't for me unfortunatly. From then on i have been working at a childcare center in Newton this time as a lead toddler teacher. I truly love what i do and love my job right now and my amazing families and kiddos. Unfortunatly do to low enrollment, hours have been cut and i am now looking for something with better hours. I would love to nanny again and work more one on one with the child and parent(s). I love letting the kiddos explore and be hands on. After all what is fun with out making a mess every once in a while! I believe a child learns 50% on their own and the other 50% we are there to help guide and teach. They need to be able to explore even if they make a mess. Do not fear i am a great cleaner as well !
