I am a passionate social work student at the University of New Hampshire looking for a part time nannying or babysitting job. In school, I specialize in child development and mentored with a program called Strong Women, Strong Girls for nearly three years. I have extensive experience in child enrichment and education. I have been a nanny for children ages 18 months to 11 years, and in my mentoring program I worked with girls aged 7-11. I am a hugely empathetic person! Children and animals are the joy of my life and interacting with both fills my life with meaning and purpose. I regularly worked with children in my internships and field work, and my passion is helping children learn their basic abilities, beliefs, and aiding them in growing into smart, confident, and compassionate little people! I have taken coursework in human behavior and development, sociology, and social work practice, Read more all of which have helped me develop strong communication skills, knowledge in developmental milestones, and tools to help children navigate the trials of growing up. While I have mostly worked with children over the age of five, my previous nannying position was for a family with four year old twins that I adored. I enjoy sharing my love of music, art, science, and animals with the children I work with, as well as partaking in and helping them develop their own interests and passions.
