I am a 7th/8th grade Special Education teacher at a middle school in Lawrence. I have worked in my school for six years now, and I absolutely adore my students and getting to work with them. My goal is not just to teach them academic skills, but to help them understand they should treat people with kindness, it's important to be curious about the world around them, and that it's a good thing to laugh at yourself! Currently, student loans are the bane of my existence, and I hope to provide care for some kiddos over the summer in order to make some extra money during my time off. Besides my experience working with preteens/teenagers, I have prior experience sitting young elementary aged children and toddlers. However, I do not have direct experience with young babies or diaper changing. I am Red Cross CPR and first aid certified.
