My name is Abigail Gannon and I am graduating from Providence College. I am leaving school with a dual major in elementary general and special education. Over the past two summer's I have been a teaching intern working with innercity children from 5th grade - 7th grade. Over the past four year's I have been working in Rhode Island school districts through my practicum courses at PC. This past year I was working in a resource room for special education with a caseload of 11 students on IEP's. These students were in first, second, third, and fifth grade. I finished my last semester of student teaching in a 1st-grade general education classroom in Pawtucket RI. I will be continuing my education at Boston College Lynch School earning a masters degree.
