Hi! I’m Sara and I have been working with children for a long time! I worked as a babysitter for many different families as a teenager and I had my first job as a nanny for a family with 3 boys (ages 12, 9 and 2) when I was 16. And I loved it! I grew up with two younger sisters and as the oldest I always had different art projects and outdoor adventures planned for us. I’ve always loved playing games and even though I’m significantly older than a child I still have a very active imagination and find I have a natural ability to connect with children. For the past year I’ve been working with a family who have an autistic toddler and I have grown to be more patient and creative in my efforts to keep him engaged and focused. It has been a welcomed challenge and Read more an absolute delight. As for me personally—I’m 23, I love art in all its forms, and for the last 3 years my main job (before covid) was waitressing at a local breakfast spot. I loved that job because of all the new relationships and friends that came out of it—I love meeting new people and hearing the stories from their lives. I love animals (especially cats!) and I love cooking and baking so if you’re looking for someone to help around the house as well I’d be happy to help cook meals and help with light household chores.
