Meet Anna

Hello! I've been working in childcare for 10 years, but recently I've branched out into nannying with my son (who will be 2 in September 2024). I am certified lead infant and toddler teacher, as well as preschool certified. I love working with kids and can't imagine my life infront of a desk. Every day is new and exciting when you are working with children and as cliche as it sounds, it brings me real joy. It's all about knowing how to roll with the punches and prevent issues that could arise. I like messes, but I dont leave them out. I like painting and sensory play. I like structure and routine because that builds a sense of safety (knowing in what comes next and what is expected), and prefer to plan activities around the needs of my students over anything else. I've got stories for days both as a Read more worker, a nanny and as a avid book lover. I can sing every kid song plus a handful more I am sure even a seasoned Raffi listener doesn't know, and I believe that for learning to be impactful, it needs to be fun.
