Hello! My name is Jennifer Trodden and I graduated from the University of Maine in 2013 with a major of Kinesiology and Physical Education, with a concentration in Exersice Science. I was also a part of the University of Maine women's swim team. I have experience with teaching swimming lessons to young kids ranging from the ages 4 to 10 as it is a part of the swim team's community service as we can raise money for our training trip. I have experience babysitting and nannying (over 10 years of experience) for families around the area. I also was a physical Education teacher for the past year but I am looking to make a career change back to nannying/babysitting. I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer, and have certifications in lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR. Jennifer babysat for 5 kids (3 were mine, 2 were our friend's) for us while we were in Hilton Head on vacation, ages 2, 3, 4, 10, 12. When I phone interviewed her, I chose her because of her confidence and upbeat attitude. When she got to our condo, she came early to meet the kids and get to know the layout. All 5 kids absolutely loved her. She was fun and responsible. She was flexible with our return time back to the room and had all the kids asleep......this is saying a lot, because three of the kids were toddlers and had trouble sleeping on vacation. The next morning, they all talked about how much they loved her. I highly recommend Jennifer for anything from a vacation babysitter to full-time nanny. She's fabulous!
