Hello, my name is Amie, after high school, I went to Salem State College to study in early childhood education, and after completing that I started working at a daycare center. I was actually hired at a new preschool to design and open up an infant toddler classroom. After that I went back to school and got mine, infant child and preschool teacher certificates and Director certificate. However, being assistant Director at the daycare, I was doing more paperwork than working with children so that’s when I decided to become a nanny and I have been a nanny for the last 22 years. I usually start with the family when the child is around three months old and I stay anywhere between 5 to 7 years until I am no longer needed. I love to work on the developmental stages in a child’s development and enjoy watching them learn. I Read more also keep a daily log with any job that I’m at so you know what we did for the day when your child ate and how much and often they slept so that you know what went on during the day. I am a very clean, neat and organized person, and while your child naps. I am willing to wash bottles pick up toys and even do laundry. The current job at ends the end of August, so I am looking to start a new job in September. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have.
