Hi everyone! My name is Abigail Sheehan and I am making the move from Boston to Chicago at the end of this month! I am going to be a senior at WGU majoring in Elementary Education, I chose to do school online so that I could create my own schedule and keep working! A little bit about me, I have over 8 years of experience working with children! I worked at a daycare for over 4 years and have nannied full-time and part-time for many families, one I’m sadly having to say goodbye to because of my move. The family has an almost 2 year old, and I worked full-time with him for a little over a year! In between that I babysat for many families for date nights and occasion weekends. I also went to Costa Rica for a month this summer to teach children basic English, that being Read more said I always try to incorporate my teaching skills when watching children. I’m looking for a full-time position but also could work with a part-time position, I am fully vaccinated and CPR certified. I have plenty of references that I can provide upon request, I will also be in Chicago the next few weekends before my move and would love to meet face to face if that would make you more comfortable.
