Hi! My name is Maddie and I am 20 years old. I just finished my sophomore year at Southern New Hampshire University as a Psychology major with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development. I have been on dean’s list every semester of college, and I have a GPA of 3.8. I am also a cheerleader at my university, and we have earned 3rd place at NCA College Nationals the past two years! I have always had a passion for working with children, and I hope to become a School Counselor after college. I grew up watching my younger cousins as well as going to work with my mom so I could help out in summer school classrooms. My mother is a Director of Student Services, so I have always looked up to her and wanted to work with and help children and families. I spent about 2 years in Read more high school babysitting on a regular basis for kids that were 2, 3, and 7 at the time that I started. I have also observed and helped out in classrooms for my college courses. I have worked at Sonic Drive-in since July of 2020; I was responsible for managing the drive-thru window as well as helping lead the crew. This summer, I am hoping for a position working with children directly, as that is more in line with my field of study as well as my passion in life. I am a very active person and love to exercise outside and take nature walks. I aim to keep kids engaged and have lots of fun! I am also an animal lover and am comfortable with any and all animals!
