Hi I'm Kara! A current Assistant Special Education teacher (for 1st-3rd graders) and graduate student. I'm primarily looking for work as a summer nanny but am also available for evening and weekend care. Since the age of 12 I have been babysitting for children of family and friends ranging from infants to teens! I have experience caring for up to 6 children at a time including multiples (twins, triplets). As a care giver, I pride myself on being engaging and responsible. I consider myself to work not just for parents, but for families ensuring that children are having fun, and learning during our time together and parents are at ease knowing their children are in safe hands! As a special educator, I have experience with a variety of behavioral needs, as well as experiencing working with children with ASD, ADHD and other diagnosis.
