I have been volunteering and working with kids since I was 16. I started out as a volunteer at my town's elementary school, in the special education room. Here I worked with children ages 5-9 on basic reading, writing, and math skills. I eventually became Education Technician II certified and was hired at this same program at the age of 20. I now work at the Child Study Center, a preschool program at the University of Maine. I also attend UMaine, and am currently finishing up a degree in Psychology with a concentration in Developmental Psych and a minor in Child Development and Family Relations. I love working with kids, and want to continuing doing so on whatever career path I take. I currently live in Orono, ME while I attend school, but am able to live/work in the Augusta, ME area as well as the Boston, MA area. I Read more am hands-only CPR certified, but would be willing to get mouth to mouth as well as first aid.
