Hello. I am a Mom and have had over 20 years experience of having children coming and going in and out of my home. My home was the neighborhood home. The home the children would flock to after school to play sports in the yard or swim in the pool. I spent many years as a “room mom” during my sons elementary school years. Helping and planning all the fun activities as well as being responsible for reading time. He is now 22 yrs old, works part time and going to school. His childhood friends are still coming and going in and out of my home and I would not change it for the world. Fun Fact we have declared my home the official house of the Super Bowl! It’s like a holiday here! These days they are 6ft tall with larger appetites and more wings to orders!! We all Read more have a lot of fun memories of football and baseball stands, basketball games in the school gymnasiums. Star Wars costumes worn in elementary school years for Halloween. Harry Potter spells. Running to the movie theater to see the newest Disney releases. Spirit week during high school years. Junior and senior proms, crushes and some serious life conversations. Some are graduating college, some traveling and finding their way. Some doing a combo of both. My life has been most joyful raising my son raising and watching him and his friends grow step by step, stage by stage over the years. My next journey is grandmother hood. I am not rushing it but do look forward to the day. In between I would love to have the opportunity to care for children. They are truly the most precious gifts in so many ways.
