Hello! My name is Julie and I currently study at Worcester State University, majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in business. Weird combination right? Well one day once I feel I’ve done with my teaching/childcare career I hope to open my own daycare! I nannied almost full time for a family down the street from me from the ages of 14 to about 17 1/2. When I started one child was just 3 weeks old and the other was 1 1/2 and it went from there! Once 17, I wanted to experiment in other areas of childcare and see what I liked because I enjoyed nannying so much. I became an assistant teacher at Skribbles Learning Center and then once I turned 18 I took some online college courses and graduated high school with a Massachusetts Teaching License in I-T-PS (infant, toddler preschool). During my senior year of high Read more school I also took 2 education classes and was my teachers assistant in our “preschool in a high school program” called tiny titans. I worked at the daycare until I went off to college while jumping from room to room I also worked there as a shift manager. Now, on occasion I still babysit for families that I met through the daycare but since its not often at all and I need a more steady source of income I knew it was time to get a part time job. I have experience with kids up to the age of 13 but most of the experience is 0-7 years. I have extra skills with kids aged 0-3. I love children with all my heart and I know that my calling in this life is to help shape the young minds of our future. I have a car and am willing to take kids to where they need to be. I am first aid and cpr certified. I can also do any other household things necessary. I love cleaning too!
