Hi families! I’m Kelsie! I have been a Child Care provider for 19 years. Starting when I was twelve years old. Babysitting my family members ages three and up. Once I began high school in 2007, I Became a part-time Nanny (2007- 2011) Once I was in college (studying to be a psychologist) starting in 2011, I began working for another family all year round from (2012 – 2016). I also started part time Nanning for another family starting from (2015- 2016). I started with them as soon as their first baby was born till the end of august. From February 2016 to the end of august I was a part time provider for pick-ups, drop-offs to and from swimming lessons. Helping with changing, and watching him swim and then bringing him home and making dinner. As being a part time caregiver in 2014, I also became a preschool photographer Read more for Life Touch 2014-2016. I had the privilege to travel to different preschools and work with wonderful teachers and districts. This was an amazing experience for me to expand my learnings with children, teachers, learning how to make fast connections, time efficiency and patience. I became a full time Nanny to a family and I’ve been with them for 7 years. (2016-2023 current) Working with this family has expanded my experiences with working with children. Both children were diagnosed with being on the spectrum, with the background that I have, and my college knowledge that I learned, I was able to quickly adapt to their family needs and lifestyle. Because of their diagnosis I have been able to work with ABA therapists and OT training over the years and with working with them, not only am I comfortable with children with deferent needs, I’ve learned core knowledge with Autism, Asperger's and more.
