  Hello, I have recently moved to Natick and am seeking part time/occasional babysitting position(s). I am currently available weekends. Currently I am a full time private nanny for 3 year old twin girls and have been with the family since they were 6 months old. I have found that taking care of twins is much different than caring for multiple children. Discovering and meeting the challenges of nurturing them, in partnership with their parents, makes every day interesting.  In addition to taking care of their basic physical needs, administering their medication and bathing them at the end of the day,  I play with them, sing to them, read to them, take them on nice long walks, to story hour at the library, music class and an exercise class. Previously I cared for three delightful children, ages 4, 6, and 8 and had been with the family since the youngest was two months old. It was a fun and busy life keeping all three active and engaged in age appropriate activities. If we were not inside reading, painting, drawing, crafting, baking, playing with legos, trains, Barbies, etc. we were outside climbing trees, excavating in the sandbox or frolicking on the swing set, digging for worms, searching for ants, “making soup” (don’t ask!), playing basketball, soccer, baseball, tag, riding in the wagon or on trikes and bikes or playing a myriad of other games whose rules can be made up or changed on the spot. We frequented the library, parks, playgrounds and museums for fun, socialization and education. I chauffeured the children to and from school and enrichment activities, arranged and oversaw play dates. I prepared healthy and nutritious breakfasts and lunches, prepped or prepared the family dinner, kept the kitchen tidy and supervised child-related cleanup. As the children’s schedules allowed I folded laundry, shopped for groceries, and ran miscellaneous household errands. I was raised in Pennsylvania in a family of eight children.  My mother stayed at home and my father was a businessman. I attended private schools and spent my free time reading, sewing and sailing. After graduating from college I taught third grade and then went on to run several businesses with my husband while raising my own two children.
