I have been babysitting since I was twelve years old. I initially started babysitting for family (ages 2-8), but soon began babysitting for friends of family. I babysat all throughout high school (infant-13) and also babysat on and off throughout college (infant-15) in addition to my two part-time jobs. I now have two children of my own and work part-time at an animal shelter (my hours are flexible). I recently have been babysitting for a friend's three-year-old daughter one day a week so that she could work, and she has returned the favor another day. However, she was offered a full-time position and is now putting her daughter in day care.
