Hi, my name is River. I have two years of experience with daily care of infants and toddlers. During the pandemic I switched jobs from farming to caretaking for my sisters two babies. I spent months doing daily caretaking tasks and teaching foundational skills - amazing to watch each of their developments in mobility, speech, and personality change over time. Some of the daily care taking tasks I provided included cooking, cleaning, feeding, exercising with, playing, and activity planning for the kids. Some of my favorite parts of child care is cooking with kids who are excited about food, taking nature walks with kids, and making trips to local farms with them to see animals.
