Hello! My name is Emma and I am a mother of 2 children, one who will be 4 in December and one who is currently 18 months. I realized my passion for children as a child myself when I would help babysit my younger cousins. It was the highlight of my week. I took a babysitting course at the age of 11 and volunteered with elementary aged autistic children at the age of 12. Since then I have babysat family members and my friends children. My daughter goes to preschool and I plan to keep my son home with me until he is old enough for preschool as well, so I am looking for a nanny job where I am able to bring my son with me as well. It is important that I find a family who is accepting of that. I feel very comfortable working with up to Read more 3 children at a time. Nannying has stuck out to me as the ideal job choice because I prefer a more personable form of care with children where I can truly focus on each child’s individual needs. I want to have my full focus on the children I am watching so I can help them learn and grow while not having to simultaneously neglect any of their emotional needs which are so important to nurture. I have a very good understanding of developmental milestones for all ages and will work with kids to reach their full potential. I am more than willing to help out with housekeeping (cleaning, dishes, laundry) when I have down time and I do very well with animals! I am CPR and first aid certified and I have a reliable source of transportation. I have also completed and passed my EEC background check and CORI check. I am extremely empathetic and nurturing towards all children I meet which makes them warm up to me very fast and feel comfortable with me. The child(ren) I nanny will most definitely become and feel like a family to me and it will be such a pleasure to watch them grow! I hope you consider me as a nanny for your child(ren)!
