Hello caring parent! My name is Maya Perry, and I am 23 years old with 9 years of experience in childcare. I received my bachelors degree in community entrepreneurship and food systems at the University of Vermont. I am a freelance marketing and business development specialist. I often work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I spent the better part of 7 summers as a camp counselor at a sleep away camp in New Hampshire called Kenwood & Evergreen. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have experience working with all types of children I also have experience as a nanny for a 5 year old where I was responsible for escorting her from school to her extra curricular activities, preparing lunch and dinner, and occasionally staying over nights the parents would be away. While living in New York City I was a part of the Read more morning routine for a 4 and 6 year old sisters. I would wake them up, get them dressed and fed and bring them both to school. I am very fun and energetic, and I love to do fun activities with kids! I do my best to keep children entertained through staying active or sparking creativity, and I am happy to keep them entertained without TV or electronics. I take childcare and child development very seriously. Don't you worry because I will care while you are not there.
