Kaitlyn Nadeau 53 Chesterton road, Wellesley MA k.nadeau@rivers.org 6176996307 DOB: 7/25/00 EXPERIENCE January 2014- Present (occasional babysitting) Since I was 14 years old, I’ve babysat for families with two or more children when needed I was responsible for feeding them dinner, putting them to bed, and entertaining them Children ranged in age from 3-13 December 2015- December 2016 Once a week I went to family nurturing center in Brighton. I collected and dropped off essential items for pregnant women and young infants I spent 4 hours every week organizing the items and attending to and entertaining young children while their mothers received help. I helped translate from Spanish to English the needs of the clients. January- March 2017 I worked with special needs children with Down Syndrome whom I helped teach how to skate and play ice hockey. I worked with these children for 2 hours a week over the Read more course of three months. April- May 2017 I worked at The Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center in Hopkinton. At the respite center I was able to work with adults with Down Syndrome and play games with them and teach them how to work modern technology such as ipads and computers. After working at the respite center I have kept in touch with two of the people I worked with and we email back and forth at least twice a week. June- August 2017 I worked at the Boston Sports Club kids day camp for the entire summer. I facilitated many games for the kids and occupied them throughout the day. April- May 2019 Volunteering at Elmwood Christian Preschool (my mom works part time there). Here I play many games with the kids throughout the day and help the teachers with whatever they need. EDUCATION 2014- present Student at The Rivers School in Weston MA. I am a senior graduating this year, and continuing my college education at Trinity College.
