Our family found and hired Sue on SitterCity. Sue has been working with our family (3 girls, ages 3-9) since June 2022. Our children adore her and I consider her a trusted friend. She is always, always on time - she has never been late once. Sue is always "on" and engaging with the kids; her child development training really shows and has been a great resource / advisor in helping us potty train and get through the terrible 2's / 3's with our youngest. She gets down on the floor and plays with the kids, they go on outings to the park, and play plenty of games. Sue never raises her voice and always keeps a gentle and calming composure with the children. She is very attentive and if she notices any issues with the kids (eg, a cut or scrape or if one had a bad day and needs a little extra love and attention) she gives me a heads up at the end of the day. I don't know how my household could run without her help - at the end of my work day, Sue has the dishes running in the dishwasher and the sink clean, the kids' school lunch prepped for the next day, their homework complete and ready to go in their folders. She single-handedly makes plans and routines for the kids that they really look forward to. For example, she put together an activity schedule for them over summer break where one day they'd do a craft, another day they might do a stem project (for example, they built a working volcano and Sue taught the kids about the chemical reaction of acid + base to make it "erupt.") Sue has also taught my children some Portuguese and regularly does language learning activities with the children. Sue is a reliable, trustworthy caregiver. She is also a wonderful human being with a kind and loving heart. We love the positive energy she's brought into our home and I wouldn't hesitate to give her my highest recommendation.

Suziene has been with our family since January. Her main responsibilities have been to pick up our 5 year old daughter from pre-K and spend the afternoon with her. She's also watched our 2 year old daughter as well. Both of my girls adore her and we cannot recommend her highly enough. She's creative, loving, and kind. The only reason we are parting ways is because our daughter is going to Kindergarten and will be going to after-school Happy to talk further if you have any questions.
