Hi! I'm Jamie and I'm from Woburn, MA (20 min. north of Boston). I am living in State College currently because I am a student at Penn State. I am a senior studying criminology with hopes of going to law school and becoming a prosecutor some day. My ultimate goal in life is to help people and make others feel appreciated/happy. Although my career is a very important aspect of my life, I am also very eager to start a family of my own. I grew up the oldest child of four with two happily married parents, so I am very family oriented. I love children and I have always loved being around them and gaining experience. I hope to have four little ones of my own some day if things go as planned. When I was 14 years old (about 7 years ago) I started babysitting. I have experience Read more working with families of up to 3 children. The age range that I feel most comfortable working with is 1yrs old up until about 10yrs old. I have watched children of all those ages and take full responsibility and attentiveness. As for duties I have been responsible for, I have quite the list... I have been a mother's helper, babysitter, and nanny. I have no problem with transporting kids to playdates/sports/school etc. I have been responsible for meal preparations, snack time, and small house hold chores. I have experience with helping kids with homework/school projects/reading. Lastly, I have been left in charge of bed time. I enjoy taking the children to parks, playing outside, playing "imagination games", and doing arts and crafts.
