Caring for children has been a large part of my entire life. While growing up, I always enjoyed assisting my mother with the children in her home day care. This experience is what drove me to seek out my first job working for the Guild of St. Agnes Daycare as an assistant teacher. I continued this position throughout high school and college and was able to gain experience with various age groups. I worked with children from infant/toddlers up to twelve years of age ( independently responsible for 9 children under my supervision at a time). In between working for the day care agency, I also have experience working for World's Gym daycare along with babysitting for private families. I am currently working as a Teacher's Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten but have gained experience with working with the pre-school students up to the middle school students in the after school Read more program. Working with children is something that I have always found as a natural calling and has always come very easily to work in the childcare environments. I love working directly with children being able to play actively, swim, play sports, nurture when needed, laughing, and having fun. Between my experience of 5 plus years of working with children and my personal characteristics such as caring, nurturing and patience, I truly believe I have what it takes to be a great nanny! Some of my interests include swimming, painting, exercising, going for walks, reading, cooking and spending time with family. I am currently CPR and First Aid certified.
