I am the mother of a son who is almost 18yrs old. He went to WAES, where I was homeroom mom during K-5. I was PTA president for 2 yrs, secretary for 1yr. I organized the retirement program for Principal Christine Stockett with all the grades participated. We organized a warm reception to the incoming Principal, mid yr. And, was chair for a multitude of fundraising events. I organized the 5th grade graduation party. Plus, one of my favorites of all!! A t-shirt with the new logo. But, my favorite all of the 5th graders signed the year before going into production. I wanted the kids, no matter how old or bigger to have it as a momentum of their friends and there school. Even, when my son was in the 6th grade at Bates, we attended the grand opening of WAES.
