From a young age, I have been babysitting for a number of different kids, through family, friends, and anyone I am recommended to. At the age of 13, I took a babysitting course and learned from my past babysitters what makes a good nanny, along with the frequent responsibility of watching three younger siblings. In the summer of 2013, I took on a full time seasonal nanny job with and 11 year old girl and discovered the close bond you can make with a child that you nanny. Since then, starting in fall 2014, I have taken on the job of watching two delightful young boys twice a week. Their active personalities keep me on my feet with not one dull moment. In the past year I have renewed my CPR certification and come to love and cherish my nannying job. My relationship with the two boys is something I Read more am so thankful for every day. The job of a caregiver wasn't something I always planned on doing, but has thankfully made its way into my life. I love knowing that when I go into work on my nannying days that I get to have the opportunity to make and ordinary day into a memorable one. What makes me thrive in this field is my love for children. They have always seemed to take a liking to me, and I have been learning how to have a healthy balance of keeping things fun while sticking to the rules. Out of my past jobs, nannying has been my favorite yet, and although I have other ideas for my future that I plan on pursuing, nannying seems to be the perfect fit for me at this time in my life and I hope to make close, healthy relationships with any children I am privileged to work with. Availability flexible, but no weekends, Wednesday, or Fridays.
