I've worked with children my whole life, even when I was a child. I've watched family infants solo starting at age 10. I practically raised my aunt's children when I was 12 and I continue to help them now at ages 10 and 7. Currently, I am in my last few weeks working at a private preschool, Bryn Mawr Little School, as a substitute teacher. I work with children ranging from 2 months old to 5 years old. The teachers prefer me in the infant room (2mo-18mo) due to the connection I was able to make with the children as well as my ease with them. I am comfortable in all situations with children and enjoy watching them achieve major life milestones and learn new things.
