Hello, my name is Kalah. After graduating high school in 2017, I started working as a Assistant Teacher at a childcare in Downtown Baltimore called Childtime, while there I gained 3 years of childcare experience working with children aged 3 months to 6 years. Then when the pandemic hit back in 2020, I started working as a Nanny. And have been nanny for 2 amazing years! Working as a Nanny has been a very rewarding experience and I really enjoy doing! I am Early Childhood Education student at Coppin State University with a Associates degree in the same major from the Community College of Baltimore County. My dream is to one day be a Elementary school teacher. And working in Childcare has been a amazing way for me to prepare for it while making connections with children and families. While attending CCBC, I took classes in Infant and Toddler Care, Read more School-Age Care and Early Childhood Development. I also certified in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aide. Most families would describe me as a committed, caring, and fun Nanny, I believe that children should have structure but also be able to be open to be who they are and express themselves in a positive way. I like to think that you can learn so much from children and that they help teach you to be a better person. So in return, I push myself to be the Best Teacher/Nanny I can be.
