Hello, my name is Valencia. I have 7 years of experience as a Preschool Teacher, in which I worked in a Reggio-inspired school. For those who are unfamiliar, this curriculum focuses on art and play-based learning which involves child-led exploration. Before teaching, I was also a nanny for two amazing toddlers. In that role, we enjoyed reading books, playing games, age-appropriate art activities, and I even taught them a little Spanish and baby American Sign Language. I am looking to be a babysitter or nanny for one to two children between the ages of 0-6 years, and wouldn’t mind doing light dishes or laundry as part of my duties (as a nanny only). I believe everything is a learning experience, so I love to engage with children in a fun and educational way! My creativity and energy will definitely keep them occupied as well.
