My name is Cherelle. I currently work part time as a teachers aide for an educational after-school program called (All.Lives.United). We have four different locations. The one I currently attend to is located inside of Mount Royal elementary/middle school. I work alongside with two team members, as we help care for a total of 35 kids, grades prek-12. I am also a part time shared sitter/nanny in the dmv area and looking to becoming full time. The one thing I enjoy the most is creating a bond with families and becoming someone they can completely trust and rely on. I believe to truly nurture a child, it’s takes more than just making sure they’re safe, cared for and fed. It takes Encouraging new milestones, exploring different areas of their brain, allowing them to overcome mini challenges and allowing yourself as an adult to be challenged. Allowing yourself to be mimicked Read more as a child admires you and looks up to you as that inspiration as they’re going through their growing stages and cycles. It’s about understanding new perspectives and different perspectives as a child may not see something as you do. Most of all, you are raising your greatest teacher.
