My name is Karen Calhoun. I have been working in the school systems for 15 years as a teachers aid for special ed students with physical or mental disabilities. where I’ve had to feed them, dress them, and administer medication. and when summer school program would start. I would work with elementary school age children. The teacher and I would just basically go over. their schoolwork that they had during the school year. and make sure that they had a clear understanding of their schoolwork. and able to master their work that they do in the classroom and for homework. and taking them out on community trips. and right now I work for Alexandria city public schools. in there after school program. called community lodging as a link support staff. I work with elementary school age children. I help them with their homework that they have to do from school. Read more making sure they understand their schoolwork and how to do it. and the children participate in a stem program where they do different projects, like building, microphones or figure out how a car runs on sensors or art projects or learning how to plant a garden and that is during the school year from Monday to Friday for 4 hours a day
