Hi, I'm Cynthia! I'm currently seeking to find my next babysitting opportunity or nanny opportunity with a nice welcoming family. At the moment I'm looking for full-time opportunities. I'm a kind, heartwarming, caring, and compassionate person. I was born and raised in the DMV area. By the age of 13, being the oldest grandchild and sibling, babysitting has always been part of my weekends and summer days. It was a natural thing for me, so now I'm 24 working in the childcare profession as a preschool teacher aide. I hope to further pursue my career in childcare. I've cared for 3-month-olds to 12-year-olds. My official background in childcare started fresh out of high school as a part time nanny/babysitter for a wonderful and kind family of 3 in Bethesda. My time with them consisted of picking him up from school in the afternoons, preparing snack and sometimes dinner. I would Read more often times plan activities after school such as arranging playdates, going to the park, going to the library, a walk around the neighborhood, or simply going home playing with toys or doing arts and crafts. I would often times work for them in the summer when they needed me, I would take him to the pool for swim class or just for free swim time. I worked with them for about 3 years. Then as a teacher aide, I started about 3 years ago working in an early preschool class that consisted of 2-year-olds. Then the summer of this year, 2023, I had the opportunity to work in a preschool class that consists of 4- and 5-year-olds. As well as an elementary school age summer program. Currently I am working at another school as Administrative Assistant. In my free time I enjoy, reading, writing stories, and exploring new places.
