Hi! I am Lucya. I am 22 years old and I love working with kids and enjoy interacting with their curiosity. I have recently worked at Bright eyes leaning center but due to COVID-19 I had to leave. During my time working there I worked in the toddlers room ages 5months-1years olds my duties were to follow there bottles/lunch and nap schedule and of course give the babies 100% of my attention I would read/sing and play with them and take them on a stroll depending on the weather. I would change their diaper as needed or at least every 2 hours. Being a infant caregiver has sparked an interest in the teaching field and possibly pursue a career out of it. I have been babysitting a 6 year old girl since school started again through August- January my duties as a babysitter to 6 years old girl were to Read more always ensure she had breakfast before her virtual zoom class had started which was 9:00AM. During the hours 9:00– 11:30 she would be in class and I would always make sure she was focused and participating. I always made it very comfortable for her to ask me any questions if she needed any help. 11:30-1:00 would be her lunch break time. During her lunch break I would heat up any prep meals her mother have left her in the morning. During our free time I would usually do some art and crafts or go outside for some outdoor activities. From 1:00-3:15 she would be back in class and I would be right beside her just in case she needs some help/assistance. I’m currently working on getting my license at the moment but as of right now I do have a reliable transportation to get there and back home.
