My name is Charlotte van de Crommert. I am a nanny with over 10 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. I began babysitting at age 13 and became a nanny for my niece in 2008 when she was 10 months old. In 2010 I accepted a position at the Little Friends Daycare at the Friends School of Baltimore, where I worked as an assistant and then a lead teacher with children from 6 weeks through 4 years of age. From the summer of 2001-2009, I worked with children ages 4-10 at the Friends School summer day camp. In the spring of 2014, I graduated with a Masters of Early Childhood Education from Towson University. I earned my Bachelors degree from the Catholic University of America where I double majored in Education and Drama. Through these years of study and through training in and outside the classroom, Read more I have learned about the stages of young children's development and how to educate the whole child in all areas in which they develop: Social/Emotional, Physical, Communicative, Intellectual, and Spiritual. I believe that children learn best through play, so I provide guided educational experiences in gross motor games, art, dramatic play, science, and math. I am putting my knowledge to the test in raising my firstborn child, an 8-month-old boy named Michael who would accompany me on the job. I would love to provide your child and mine with tender care as well as positive, significant social experiences!
