Hi, my name is Carol. Overall, I have 8 years of professional experience in education/childcare. Throughout those years I’ve had the honor of teaching and caring for children all over the age spectrum. The most rewarding aspect of this field is that I am also granted to ability to learn and grow alongside children. I am flexible and find the best ways to teach and care for a child's individual needs. I've gained various certifications and have been licensed to be a Pre-School Teacher. I was responsible for facilitating activities and helping children with homework. 2016-2020 I became a lead teacher for toddlers and had experience with infants as well. I learned the importance of keeping them on a customized schedule to enhance their learning and growth. 2020-2021 I was trusted by previous families I have worked for, to take on the role of Home-School Teacher/tutor, during the pandemic. I was eager to self-teach and grow in my knowledge of the Montessori way of teaching, as the parents preferred that teaching style. I developed lesson plans and strategies to get the children ready for school once pandemic life was over. I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to continue to grow in professionalism and bringing wonderful learning/caring experiences for your children.
