Hey there! I am a first year medical student at West Virginia University School of Medicine, planning to specialize in Pediatrics. I have been working with kids for the majority of my life (I just turned 25) and absolutely love doing it. I started babysitting at age 13, and went all the way up until college. I also worked as a children's fitness instructor during high school. I attended University of Maryland College Park and received my degree in Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology and Physiology. During my last two years at UMD, I was an after-school/after-camp nanny for two families in the DMV. After graduation I worked during the school day as a Medical Assistant in a Pediatricians Office in Bethesda, MD, and continued to after-school nanny as well. After almost a year of work there, and a subsequent year of work in Dermatology, I moved to South Read more Korea, where I worked as an English Teacher in a private pre-school. I recently moved to Morgantown and am looking to babysit on Friday and Saturday nights while in medical school! I absolutely love children and playing and having fun, and want to incorporate these into my busy schedule as a medical student. I am certified in Basic Life Support Training (High-Quality CPR, Heimlich Maneuver, etc.) and in Stop the Bleed (how to identify and stop a life threatening bleed).
