A bit about me: I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for over 10 years. I initially began working toward becoming an elementary teacher when I first started in college before switching my major to psychology. During that time I enjoyed volunteering, as a teacher's assistant, for 11 months at the Dasher Green Head Start in Columbia. I now have a BA in psychology and currently work as a caseworker in the mental health field. I've been a caseworker at the same job for over 3.5 years and, in that job, work to assist adults with a mental health diagnosis in becoming more independent in their community (through setting routines, scheduling appointments, finding needed mental or physical health providers, assisting in completing benefits applications, etc.). I am also in the second of a 3-year track toward obtaining my masters in social work (MSW) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Basically, I very much enjoy working with individuals of all ages, specifically kids and infants.
