To whom it may concern, My name is Patricia, I am 48 years old and very interested in your job posting. I have been a professional nanny in the D.C area since 1988, and I am looking for a full-time position. I currently live in Silver Spring, Maryland. A little bit of my history : I was born and raised in France, and I have been a nanny for over 25 years in the USA. I was a nanny for the same family from 2001 to 2014, taking care of two little girls,( ages 2 and 5 years old when I started, and 15 and 17 years old, when I left). My duties were taking care of the children, doing their laundry, feeding them, keeping their rooms clean until they could do it on their own, arts and crafts, help with homework, taking them to different activities, playgroup, and field Read more trips. The reason for my leaving was because the mother retired early. I recently took care of two little boys as a nanny share. They were 8 months old when I started in february 2015, until they were 19 months old, in November 2015. My duty was mainly taking care of the two little boys, feeding them, doing their laundry, taking them for little walk, sometimes to the playground. And occasionally, the library for story time, and the zoo. The reason for my leaving this nanny position, was because one of the family decided to end the nanny share. I am also a mother of a 21 years old daughter, who will be graduating from college in May 2016. My hobbies are running, reading being with family and friends. I am a First Aid, CPR, AED certified.
