Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Miller. I am a rising sophomore at McDaniel College majoring in Elementary Education. I am currently employed as a nanny but before this was a substitute teacher at an accredited daycare for two years. There, I specialized in both assisting teachers with classrooms and filling in for teachers that are not present. This included implementing lesson plans, leading circle times, and leading routines such as snack and lunch times or nap times. Due to my employment background I have experience and am very comfortable caring for multiple children at one time. I have experience with caring for up to ten preschool aged children on my own and up to six two year old children at a time. Before this, I was enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Westminster High School where I earned my GED. I was also awarded the Teacher Academy of Read more Maryland Award at graduation due to my contributions and hard work in the program! I love working with and teaching children and find it is one of my most rewarding passions. I have been trained in conscious discipline and am happy to work with your family to implement strategies and routines that are familiar to you! I am fully vaccinated, and have a drivers license with my own car as means of reliable transportation. Some of my hobbies are crafting, jewelry making, listening to music, shopping secondhand, and playing video games. I feel that I will be able to relate to some of your children as my favorite movie of all time is Trolls World Tour! I am even told that my pink hair reminds a lot of children of Poppy :-). I would describe myself as a fun, patient, and trustworthy sitter who will truly get to know and care for your child should you trust me to do so. I look forward to speaking with you and answering any questions you may have! I am currently available for babysitting jobs on weekends and late nights (after 5:30-6:00) on weeknights. I would love to be able to help out your family!
