I got into childcare when I was still in high school. I have just shy of five years experience. Not only am I the oldest of three children, but I have cared for children of all ages ranging from newborns up to 7 -years-old. I have worked in a daycare setting as well as in peoples' homes as a nanny. I was attending Frederick Community College to major in Elementary Education in order to become a teacher, but have recently decided to take time off to work full time. I'm responsible, reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, and always on time. I started babysitting/nanny because children are my passion. It is my dream to one day run my own classroom and plant the seed of learning into the minds of little ones. Childcare is not just a job for me; it is so much more.
