Hi there! My name is Jamie! I am an UMD student, who has achieved their associates degree & will be graduating this May 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice! My dream career is one day to become a social worker, therefore I love to work with children! During my high school years, I worked as an intern for 2-3 years with a 2nd grade classroom, and that is when I found my passion for working with kids. I would help with classwork, read books with students, push for academic, emotional, intellectual and social development! I have also been fortunate to work with nanny families over the past 4 years. I've had 3 different jobs caring for 2 toddlers (each) for 3 families. I have transportation, & I am willing to take kids to school, extra curricular activities, or even out to receive simple fresh air. I Read more also have experience with infants. I was an infant assistant teacher at an educational daycare as well as have had 2 nanny positions watching 3 month - 1-year-olds! Finding a job where I could work with children would be amazing as it would allow me to apply my experience to accommodate families needs! Hope to hear from you and your family soon! :)
