I am a graduate student who has worked with children independently for over 10 years. For almost 3 years, I have served as a full-time nanny (both live-in and live-out). My responsibilities have included overnight care, traveling, and meal prep. Outside of nannying, I have also served as a babysitter and an overnight camp counselor. In each of these fields, I have learned (and continue to learn) how to handle many different personalities and interests at once, aid in conflict resolution, respond quickly and rationally during emergency situations, and become creative when trying to keep them interested in their household activities such as chores.
