Everything you need from a Nanny & More! Hi, everyone. My name is Maya and I’m a Childcare/Family Wellness professional looking for a position in the Baltimore or Washington D.C. metro areas. I was born and raised in Westchester County, NY and I came to Maryland in 2011 to attend the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating in 2016 with a B.S. in Family Science. During my studies, I focused specifically on Early Childhood Education and Community Services. I have more than 10 years of childcare experience, having worked with children of all ages in almost every setting imaginable - summer camps, Head Start programs, private homes, daycare centers, swim teams and more. In my most recent position, I served as a full-time Lead Teacher in an elite academic preschool classroom in Bethesda. I know exactly what today’s parents want and need in terms of their child’s care and development, Read more and I have the skills necessary to help your child learn and grow according to their developmental stage. Most of my experience is with children ages 3-6; however, I am open to caring for "big kids" and teenagers as well. Cooking and cleaning are honestly hobbies of mine, and I also love animals so bring on the cats and dogs! In terms of scheduling, I currently own and operate my own personal training and wellness business. Therefore, I am looking for a part-time short-term position as a nanny, tutor or "Mother’s Helper" (or Father’s, of course). I’m flexible, but ideally, I would come to your home 2-3 full days or 3-4 half days.
