Hello. My name is Carey. I am a mom to two amazing children who are currently in middle school. I put myself through college by working in different childcare centers in the Baltimore area. I am a college graduate with a degree in Psychology and a certificate in Early Childhood education. I have been an educator in Baltimore, PG and Charles County schools. I have taught first, kindergarten and pre-kindergarten. I have worked in both public and private school. After Covid, I decided to take a step back as a teacher an become an instructional assistant. This gave me more time to spend with my children and stay on top of their sports and to be more present in their life. I am currently an instruction assistant in a local elementary school, but teaching isn't like it used to be. I am looking for a change.
