I would like to express a genuine interest in the position of a baby sitter/nanny with your family. I have over 27 years of experiences in raising my own children. I have four grandchildren who I love dearly. I'm a certified Foster Parent with Calvert County. I assisted in taking care of three young ladies that were put into the system during their teenage years. It was very challenging because they couldn't understand why they were placed in foster care during their high school years. Two of the young ladies still keeps in contact with me and my adult children. One hasn't stop calling me mom even though she has aged out the system. In raising my own children and being a Foster mom I've develop exceptional child caring skills. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I Read more believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny. I work well with other people, thanks to my friendly and caring nature, and am sure I will make a good team with your other household employees.
