Bright, friendly and energetic! 💖 I am a Registered Behavior Technician for individuals with intellectual disabilities/behavioral needs. I have all around experience working with children and young adults. Firstly, This position makes me a great fit for you, because I am reliable, responsible and reactive. I have experience in care-giving for almost 7 years. I have experience in babysitting, special needs and care-companion. I’ve babysat over the years frequently while in Middle and High School. I first started out taken a child development class in high school for 2 years, with ages that ranged from 3-5. That grew my passion for teaching children, right then and there. My responsibilities included; observation, charting students behaviors, preparing meals, plan assignments and activities and to communicate with parents/caregivers. Read more I have taught/aided in four schools so far, working with individuals with behavioral needs and or disabilities. Secondly, I have participated in a program while attending High School called “Best Buddies” for a year working with individuals with disabilities on the spectrum with ages that ranged from 15-21. My responsibilities were to help with assignments, homework, plan activities, physical assistance, toilet-needs, and occasional grooming. Furthermore, I have 2 siblings with intellectual disabilities, a 5 and 11-year old who has Autism/Aspergers Syndrome and ADHD who I help with on a day to day basis. I also have in and out home nanny experience for 5 years. I am CPR/Infant/First Aid Certified and I am reactive on participating in CPR/First Aid training yearly. SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO ME ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN ❤️. In the next 5 years I plan to have my Masters Degree in Behavioral Health as a Therapist specifically for children and adolescents.
