Hi I'm Heather! I've worked as a nanny, a substitute pre-school teacher, a dog walker/pet sitter, a behavior technician for young children with autism, and I spent a few years doing wildlife surveys for the U.S. Forest Service. I love working with children because they see the world in a different way. They remind me to live in the moment and the importance of having fun! Some of my favorite activities to do with children are singing and dancing, going on adventure walks, and any sort of art project. I also enjoy fostering a child's natural curiosity about the world around them through reading and hands on experiences. I find childcare fulfilling because it allows me the opportunity to help children develop the skills they need to pursue their dreams.

Heather was our nanny for our infant son from May 2021 to October 2021. She was very sweet with him, and always followed any instructions we gave her "to a tee." She always stayed on his routine and schedule, which was very important to us. Heather even "dog-sat" a few times for us as well, and she took excellent care of our beloved older dog.
