I have been a nanny for four and a half years. I was a long term nanny for a military family for about three years. I have recently had the pleasure of helping several families as a short term nanny. Before working as a nanny, I babysat for about two years. Since then, I have also been an occasional sitter for several families for about seven years. I love children and pets! I have a dog myself! I'm easy to get along with, very understanding, and helpful. I can be silly but I also stick to schedules and I do what needs to be done. I have a 19 month old boy and I am looking for a position that allows me to bring him with me. I am extremely comfortable caring for another child while caring for him. We are able to provide care in your home to keep Read more your little one in a familiar setting (and to lessen the morning/afternoon hassle for you). ;)

Erin, was a nanny for our son for about six weeks (Erin took over for our old nanny and we only needed her for a short period of time). Erin typically worked 40 hours per week. Erin was always on time and she worked around our busy schedule. Erin and our son had a great time together playing games and going to the park. Erin picked up after herself and always left the house clean. We would have continued to use Erin as our nanny if we still needed one. We hope to use Erin as a babysitter from time to time. Brett K.

Erin responded almost immediately to my post regarding emergency care for several days. She's quite responsive via email. I was happy to see Erin's application for this short term request. I interviewed Erin for another position, but ultimately we couldn't work out the schedule. But, I was very comfortable with her taking care of the kids, based on the prior interview. Erin was actually early both days she came over. She was immediately attentive to my Son (3 years old). She has a very steady and calm tone with the kids. However, she's not condescending. She did the following while with us: - Read books - Created Arts & Crafts - Prepared lunch - Cleaned up areas used by the kids - Put my Son down for a nap - Continued potty training with my 3 year old Once my daughter (4 years old) arrived home from school, Erin immediately connected with her as well! My kids have *very* quick reactions to sitters - there have been several that have not worked out because my kids didn't take to them. But, with Erin, it was the complete opposite. They LOVED her! My son still adored her - even when she had to be stern with him! And, they cried when she left! I would certainly have Erin come back to help us in a heartbeat. And, I am sure she would be great with any other family as well.

My husband and I had hired Erin for next day babysitting due to my emergency bed rest. We had agreed that Erin would babysit Friday afternoon and Sunday morning. When Friday afternoon arrived Erin never came. I was left scrambling to find another sitter all the while being on bed rest. Since Friday I have emailed , texted and called Erin. I have yet to hear back from her. I truly hope she is ok. I hope this post will cause her to contact me.

I thought I had finally found a sitter who'd thrill my daughter. Too bad after 2 days' work she completely disappeared for 5 days, wouldn't return email or voice mail. Eventually she brought back the car seat and house key, but now i have to change my locks because she's apparently a loose cannon. I was truly burned.

Erin was a wonderful sitter. My boys enjoyed playing with her and she did a great job getting them settled and to bed on time. She was very responsible and prompt. I look forward to using her again in the future.
