I took the Suburban Hospital Babysitters course as a teenager, and since then have cared for children ranging from ages 1 month to 9 years, as well as holding CPR, first aid, life guarding, and life saving certifications. I have been involved in babysitting and nannying since I was 12 years old (now 22). I started babysitting as a way to make a little money during high school, and then I fell in love with the experiences and the children I cared for, so I never stopped. When I was 17, I was caring for a 1 month old and 2 year old. During my care for them, their parents were going through a very messy divorce and many times their mother commented on my reliability and my close relationship with her children. Ultimately, I hope to be an international adoption counselor with focuses in South America and/or Western Europe.
