Hello! I began working with children in 2010 when I became a summer camp counselor at the YMCA summer camp. I came back every summer until 2013 because of location change. I was hired by another YMCA in the fall of 2013, working in a nursery with children ranging from 8 weeks-4 years old. There I was required to interact with the children, change diapers, play with toys, and engage with children with one another through songs and games that promoted and helped develop sensory and motor skills. In 2014 I was promoted to be a child care director of a site that provided care for 200 children. I also was the summer camp director and housed over 1,000 children during the months of June-August with an wildly successful program. I held the site director/summer camp director position for two years until I moved on to another job opportunity in Read more my field of study. I have been CPR and First Aid certified several times and love working with children. I also have two nieces ages two and eleven that I take care of often.
